Equities slipped lower in early trade in London on Monday amid weakness in the telecoms, pharmaceuticals and banking sectors. The FTSE 100 lost 5 points at 4,693.8 while the mid-cap FTSE 250 lost 13 points at 6,366.2 by 0800 GMT.
