The Tax Law Rewrite project, which is modernising UK direct tax law so that it is clearer and easier to use, will today publish a draft of its fourth Bill.

In a written statement to Parliament the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, John Healey, today said that:* the new Bill, the Income Tax Bill, will in practice complete the rewrite of income tax.
