Monthly survey

A number of independent tire dealers were surveyed concerning current business trends. The results of the May 1992 survey are Compared with those of May 1991.

General outlook

In May, 47% of passenger tire dealers and 55% of truck tire dealers perceived that their businesses would improve during the coming six months. In contrast, 53% of passenger tire dealers and 45% of the truck tire dealers said that business will stay about level. No passenger or truck tire dealers think that business will worsen.
