Budapest, October 1, 2004 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Hungarian stocks plunged on Friday at mid-day amid active trading dominated by mid-cap chemicals company BorsodChem, after the announcement that Vienna Capital Partners was selling its 62pc stake in the company. The BUX index was down 182 points, or 1.44pc, at 12,464, while the mid-cap BUMIX plummeted 3.49pc to 1,122.
