Budapest, October 1, 2004 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Hungary's Purchasing Manager Index dropped by 2.8 points to a seasonally adjusted 50.0 in September, Halpim, the company which compiles the index, reported on Friday.
The index, which gauges the business mood of 100 manufacturing firms, was the lowest since March. The index saw highest level of 53.5 in May, followed by 52.9 in June, 51.5 in July and 52.8 in August.
The production index fell 7.5 points to 49.8 in September.
