GETTING a word with suezmax brokers this week has been a tough task. With oil cracking the $50 a barrel mark producers have been pumping at top speed.
VLCCs leapt to absolutely outrageous prices by Tuesday, hitting W250 – 'a truly phenomenal amount of money' according to one Oslo broker – and it didn't take a rocket scientist to realise that cargoes would be split.
