RAMCO Energy has completed its investigations into the production problems at Ireland's Seven Heads gas field and is ready to reinvest in its only operating asset.
The Aberdeen oil independent and service contractor has submitted the report to Irish authorities and Ramco's bankers before it moves to implement an improvement to reservoir performance.
Seven Heads, developed with subsea wells, is one of only a few producing fields off Ireland and is an important gas supplier to the country but is not performing as well as expected.
'The technical report on the production problems encountered with Seven Heads was completed re- cently and is with our partners,' said Peter Everett, Ramco's chairman.
'The review and the revised reservoir model have identified a number of possible ways of improving production and a range of profiling options to maximise gas revenues.'
