Higgins warning Gareth Higgins, son of ACT Chief Justice Terence Higgins, was warned yesterday he would be arrested and kept in custody if he failed to a keep a single appointment with Corrective Services staff trying to prepare a pre-sentence report for the courts. Higgins, 36, of Ngunnawal, had missed five previous appointments with Corrective Services. Higgins is facing charges of assaulting his girlfriend, driving his father's car without authority, driving while suspended, and dishonestly withdrawing $190 from his father's credit-card account. He will be sentenced on the assault matter in November. The other charges were adjourned until next …
