KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- The abolishment of textile and apparel quotas scheduled to take effect on Jan 1, 2005 for countries under the World Trade Organisation (WTO), will further boost apparel maker Hytex Integrated Bhd's overseas expansion.

Executive chairman Soo Kim Sin said that with the protectionist measures removed, Hytex was positioning itself to export products to countries that previously had set quotas on imported apparels.
