The Federal Executive Council has approved the construction of Sulma dam in Kufur Local Government Area of Katsina state at the cost of N869, 728,348.34. The project, which is for portable water supply and irrigation, is to be completed within 24 months. Minister of water resources, Alhaji Mukhtar Shagari, announced this yesterday while briefing State House Correspondents on the decisions of the Federal Executive Council presided by Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
