PENANG'S Low Wee Nee secured a 10-8, 2-9, 9-1, 9-5 victory over Tan Yan Xin of Selangor for the Girls' Under-13 title in the SportsExcel-NSC-Milo- MSSM squash grand finals at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday.

The two players showed their prowess in the Scottish Junior Open last December. Competing for the first time abroad, Yan Xin won the Under-11 title, while Wee Nee reached the semi-finals of the Under-13 event there.

The SRA of Malaysia (SRAM) are expecting Wee Nee to do better in the Scottish Juniors this year, while Yan Xin, 11, should be the favourite to retain her title.
