Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students are at high risk for dropping out of college. They're also the group at highest risk for suicide.

Health and retention issues are huge for this largely invisible population, variously estimated at 6% to 10% of American undergraduates. Unlike other minorities on campus, sexual minorities have received very little scholarly attention.
