PKN Orlen's Supervisory Board is to draw up a shortlist of candidates for the post of company president at today's meeting. Thus far, the most serious contender was thought to be Deputy Finance Minister Igor Chalupec, who is supported by the Treasury. Another favourite to take over the country's largest oil company is Pawel Gricuk from JP Morgan, linked to PM Marek Belka. Quite unexpectedly, a third strong candidate has emerged.
