The general manager of the national broadcaster, Johnson Honimae, says one of the major achievements of the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation [SIBC] so far this year is the completion of its Corporate Plan 2004 to 2006.

Speaking during the launching of SIBC's one-week 52nd anniversary celebrations today, Mr Honimae said the corporation was able to have the plan completed through the help of a consultant funded by the New Zealand government.

Mr Honimae said this Corporate Plan maps out developments for the next three years.
