Distance learning comes anywhere you are, whether on the street, office or even at home
Ms Lynette Nkunda is a family woman. Going away from her family for two years to pursue further studies would draw a wedge between them. She has enrolled to pursue a Masters of Business Administration degree with Damelin Education Group of South Africa. Damelin offers distance learning for the U.K's Oxford Brookes University qualifications.
"It is convenient for me, I will keep the bond with my child as I will be there as she grows," she told Education Forum. Nkunda also runs a small business and going away for further studies would imply the business' closure.
But now, she can study at her own pace.
Nkunda is one of the several Ugandans who have opted for distance learning.
