NewTek releases LightWave 8.(3D animation)
NewTek has upgraded its LightWave 3D animation software for film, broadcast, print, game development, and Web development to Version 8.
Adding to the production program's modeling, animation, and rendering capabilities, NewTek LightWave has been infused with new character animation tools and dynamics. Its character animation system has gained faster inverse and forward kinematics, improved setup and control of character animation, and the ability to cut, paste, and adjust hierarchies quickly and simply. With the new ability to import and export character rigs, users can apply rigs to new meshes more easily.
