Hong Kong, 12 September: Voting for Hong Kong's third term Legislative Council finished on Sunday night [12 September].

The outcome of the election is expected to be announced Monday morning.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa came to the Hong Kong Park Sports Centre to cast his vote for the third term Legislative Council (LegCo) election at 9:00 a.m. [0100 gmt] Sunday.

A total of 501 polling stations in Hong Kong were open for the electors to cast their votes from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
