The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI) and the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam yesterday held a joint conference on developing ties in the field of information and communication technology between the two countries.

Speaking at the conference, Israeli Minister of Information Uri Olenik says: "Israel has raked in $2.93 billion from exporting telecommunication products since 1998, up 83%. Israel is very strong in the production of fiber-optic cables, wireless equipment, digital switchboards and network security solutions".
