KUCHING, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- The Ba'kelalan state by-election scheduled on Sept 18 is likely to see the Barisan Nasional (BN) challenged by the opposition Sarawak National Party (Snap) or an Independent or both.

Following yesterday's state BN announcement on its choice of candidate, Nelson Balang Rining, 48, the Snap leadership will meet tomorrow to finalise their decision on their candidate, according to Snap secretary-general Edmund Stanley Jugol.
