THE post office is now supposed to be a corporatised entity, but old habits are perhaps not as easily eradicated with the mere stroke of a pen. For some weeks now, my local post office has been sending word through my post box announcing that it is compiling data on its users throughout Sarawak. Well and good, I initially thought.
The only trouble is, the first thought that apparently came to those staffing the post office is precisely the one which the public generally loathes about our bureaucracy - a questionnaire, another form to fill.
