Staff at two National Trust properties in Somerset were celebrating yesterday after winning the same prestigious award.

Montacute House and Dunster Castle have been presented with a Sandford Award, a heritage industry standard which pays tribute to the quality of supervised school visits.

The award is open to all historic sites throughout the country and marks high-standards in heritage education, management and administration.
