Jakarta, Sept 2 (ANTARA) - A group of people calling themselves People's Coalition (KR) staged a demonstration outside the Supreme Court building here on Thursday demanding the trial of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as a party co-responsible for the pollution of Buyat Bay in North Sulawesi by PT Newmont Minahasa Raya (NMR).
AA Sofiwi MS, the group's leader, said they were also asking the Supreme Court to revoke its letter No KMA/280/IV/2000 dated April 11, 2000 annulling an order from the Tondano district court, North Sulawesi, to close down PT NMR operations temporarily.
