SYDNEY, Sept 3 Asia Pulse - Men's magazine FHM was relaunched Thursday in a move hoped to appeal to an increasingly sophisticated blokes' market and stretch its lead over its main rival in the sector.
FHM editor-in-chief John Bastick said the Australian male had moved on since the magazine was first published in 1998 and was now smarter, more sophisticated and better dressed.
"For too long we have been patronising to guys in their 20s who are actually well-travelled and career-minded," he said.
The new FHM format was a return to "big reads" and "big journalism".
