In a bullish trading statement, Lloyd's property/catastrophe specialist Advent has pointed to rate increases across all key accounts, and has reported exposed US property/catastrophe rate increases of up to 100%.

The syndicate said it had also reduced gross exposures on catastrophe-exposed accounts, and had seen improvements in policy terms and deductibles.
