BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Bowling Green State University is "locking in" the price of tuition.
A new, need-based Tuition Certainty Program will guarantee qualified students the same tuition rate from the time they enter the University until they graduate four years later. Entering freshmen next fall will be the first students eligible.
According to BGSU Financial Aid Director Craig Cornell, the University is the first public university in Ohio to offer this kind of price "lock" on tuition. The program, he said, is designed to help families plan for the cost of sending their children through college.
