"Schumann Perspectives: A View Across the Disciplines," an international symposium and music festival celebrating the legacy of Robert Schumann, will take place at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, September 29-30, 2006. The festival marks the 150th anniversary of Schumann's death.
Featured guests include Lawrence Kramer, professor of music at Fordham University; Harald Krebs, professor of music at the University of Victoria; Louis Nagel, professor of music at the University of Michigan; and Catherine Kautsky, professor of music at the University of Wisconsin.
