Seoul, 2 September: The debate over the controversial National Security Law has taken another twist this week, as the country's highest court was found to have upheld the anti-North Korean law in a Monday [30 August] ruling.

In the 30 August ruling, the Supreme Court even accused the leadership of the ruling Uri Party of trying to strip the country of its last defence measures against the communist North, court officials said Thursday.
