OWNERS and trainers are going through bad times due to the current economic situation and need help.
They have to pay for almost everything to see their star purchases compete in races in Malaysia. But luckily they don't have to pay for galloping on the grass track during track work like in some countries.
Trainers have also to pay for feed, medication and vitamins, while owners also have to pay for freight charges and the purchase of racehorses. Some of them buy the horses through some top brass in the industry and not through trainers as was the case years ago.
