EIGHT feet beneath the 1 Utama extension, dubbed 1 Utama 2 by regulars, lies a school. Not your ordinary school but a diving centre called Sealantis.
Sealantis must surely be the first dive training centre in a shopping complex that has its own eight-feet deep training pool. When it was operating in the original wing of 1 Utama, it did not have a pool and had to take students elsewhere for the practicals.
When 1 Utama came up with its expansion plan, Sealantis jumped at the opportunity to have its own training pool right next door to its shop. The pool is now used for swimming and scuba diving lessons.
