SEOUL, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - Electricity consumption in South Korea climbed 8.4 per cent year-on-year to 25.6 billion kilowatts in July, the Commerce Ministry said Wednesday.
Power consumption for industry accounted for 54.9 per cent of the total, followed by general-purpose electricity with 23.7 per cent and housing-purpose with 15.5 per cent, according to the ministry.
