GREENVILLE, S.C., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall-AsiaNet/ --
KEMET Corporation (NYSE: KEM) announced today that Chuck Meeks has been named Director of Ceramic Operations, reporting directly to KEMET Vice President of Global Manufacturing Rick Rickenbach. In this capacity, Mr. Meeks' responsibilities will include supervising all ceramic surface mount and leaded product manufacturing operations in the United States and Mexico, including the introduction of new products in Fountain Inn's advanced manufacturing facility and the high volume production of low cost commodity products in Monterrey.
Mr. Meeks has been with KEMET 21 years, serving in a number of organizational leadership roles, including most recently as the Fountain Inn Plant Manager. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University.
