CALAPE, Bohol-Ronald Bucao sank the winning basket as Tribu Sugbu (Cebu Tribes) pulled off an 82-80 double overtime decision over Laguna Spring Monday in a thrilling match featuring the division leaders in the NBC (National Basket Conference) national finals at the Calape Cultural Center here.

The 5-foot-10 Bucao eluded Laguna's Marlon Kalaw with 2.9 seconds left in the second overtime period to bank in the shot off Danny Capobres and give the Tribes their sixth straight win.

"Alam ko talagang papasok 'yun nung malusutan ko si Kalaw," said an elated Bucao after steering the team of businessman Lito Gilliamac Jr., Alberto Tan and Dr. Kelly Viado to victory.
