THE Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange (Macee) has announced the availability of the GE Fund Scholarship in Malaysia for local undergraduates.

Up to US$64,000 (RM243,000) worth of scholarships are being provided by the philanthropic foundation of General Electric Company.

Each scholarship of US$2,000 (RM7,520) per year carries no bond.

GE Southeast Asia president, Stuart Dean, said the programme delivered real benefits to a group of highly talented young Malaysian students.

Managed by Macee since 1993, the scholarship programme is an annual award.
