KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - Peace-keeping troops under the Organisation of the Islamic Conference for Iraq seems to be a non-starter.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said today OIC members were only keen to have their troops there with the "blue beret" - OIC under the United Nations banner.
"Although the idea is mooted by OIC members, at present it has not been picked up. On the other hand, the issue is not even on the agenda of the UN Security Council.
