Former dissident Sulc heads Government Office.

PRAGUE, Aug 25 (CTK) - Former dissident Ales Sulc, who was head of the Interior Ministry's security department, is in charge of the Government Office, cabinet spokeswoman Vera Duskova told CTK today.

"Mr Sulc is taking over the agenda. He is now moving his things from the Interior Ministry," Duskova added.

Sulc, 51, was a signatory of the Charter 77 dissident manifesto. The security department, which was headed by him for seven years, is in charge of security vetting and classified data at the Interior Ministry and related organisations.

As Government Office head, Sulc will be in charge of more than 500 employees …
