Ge-Shen eyes ISO 14000 certification by year-end.

PLASTIC moulding manufacturer Ge-Shen Corp Bhd aims to get ISO 14000 certification by the end of the year, so that its products can enter the European and American markets.
Its financial director Aw Joon Thong said the ISO 14000 certification will spur the company towards attaining global recognition as a quality product manufacturer.
Speaking to reporters during a media tour of the company's plant in Taman Gembira, Johor Baru, yesterday, he said Ge-Shen also plans to expand the 10,672 sq m production floor area of its plant by 10-15 per cent next year.
