South Central Division.(Division News)
We are grateful to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for the use of its facilities for our division competitions, and to our dedicated local chair, Susanna Garcia, NCTM. Louisiana's Save Our Students Fund has subsidized tuition, piano rentals and music for several teachers and numerous students. Louisiana MTA is deeply grateful to all who have contributed.
The recently completed Arkansas MTA (ASMTA) Curriculum Theory and Musicianship Guide will be used beginning spring 2006. Arkansas will host several benefit concerts showcasing the talent of ASMTA college teachers beginning in October 2006.
