Ken Lever (Tomkins): There are many, many issues if you look back over the past three or four years, in terms of the changing role of the finance director. The one I want to highlight is the increasing complexity of accounting and financial reporting.
This increasing complexity is something that is difficult for most people to wrestle with - even technically qualified people - let alone the man in the street.
