Members of the public joined anti-terrorism training and drills in Chon Buri and Phuket this week to ensure their readiness for terrorist attacks amid alerts worldwide and violence in southern border provinces.

AFP reported that Australia has warned its citizens to exercise "extreme caution" when visiting Thailand, citing continued reports of terrorists planning attacks in the Kingdom.
