THE Masindi chief administrative officer, Wanyenze Gimogoi, has interdicted eight officials over the loss of sh41m.

The loss was discovered in an on-going sub-county audit led by the district Chief Internal Auditor, Joseph Kabuubi. In his report released on Thursday, Kabuubi said some of the money was local remittances from Kinyara Sugar Works.
