I've enjoyed providing fishing reports for nearly 30 years.

This one is different. In the wake of Hurricane Charley, fishing is not near the top of the list of priorities.

For those in areas not affected by the storm, fishing has been surprisingly good. Spotted seatrout, redfish, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, jack crevalle and ladyfish are cooperating in the bays.

The accompanying map is designed to help readers find out what fish are hitting where.
