The Lagos State Attorney-General and Comm-issioner for Justice, Professor Yemi Osibajo, has been petitioned by some property developers in the state over what they termed illegal destruction of their four properties despite a subsisting court order on the matter.

The petition dated June 28, 2004, and written by solicitors from the firm of Dickson D. I. Osuala and Co. on behalf of the petitioners, Mr. Chika Elile and Chika and Sons Limited, owners of properties located at Nos. 41 & 43, Alaba International Market Road, Ojo, Ojo town, Lagos; No. 45, Ojo-Igbede Road, and an abandoned slaughter slab, on Ojo-Igbede Road, claimed that they had more than 200 shops and other properties in the properties combined.
