At the University of California at Santa Barbara, scientists have developed a test to quickly detect the presence of GHB, a date rape drug, in blood, urine and semen.
GHB is known to cause relaxation and euphoria, making women easy prey to rapists. In high doses, it can cause unconsciousness and death.
