TWO main personalities in Persatuan Karyawan Malaysia are involved in a war of words over the proposed disbursement of funds to be raised at the association's dinner.

Claiming that the artistes' association has lost its original focus, its Hotel and Club Artistes Division (HCAD) chairman Francis Danker led a boycott of Karyawan's annual general meeting on July 28.

Six other committee members of the HCAD followed suit.

They were K. Selvaraj, Adrian Doshi, Edwin Nathaniel, Amizan Ariffin, Leonard Tan and Dave Avranjit Singh.

They walked out minutes before the AGM was due to start at Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

It is believed that there were about 100 artistes of various disciplines …
