MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Resilience Corporation (http://www.resilience.com/), maker of Integrated High Availability (iHA(TM)) network-security appliances for Check Point firewall / VPN security software, today announced that it is the best-of-breed choice as a platform solution for Datacraft Ltd., the leading independent IT services company in the Asia-Pacific region. Resilience's Secured-by-Check-Point(TM) appliances will be the platform standard for Datacraft's new 360-Degree network security solution for enterprise and telecommunications markets. The new offering is the result of an alliance that joins Resilience's next-generation Integrated High Availability (iHA) security appliances and Check Point firewall/VPN software with Datacraft's professional services for IT consulting and integration.
Datacraft is basing its new security solution on Resilience DX4000 high-performance security appliances that run Check Point's VPN-1 and FireWall-1 software. With the ability to automatically block and log oversized packets, SYN floods and fragmentation attacks, this solution keeps critical data, applications, servers and networks secure from sophisticated Internet-based attacks such as Nimda, Code Red and Cross Site Scripting.
"If a network's security is not supported by high availability, it is security at risk," said Ted Marr, Resilience CEO. "This solution provides all necessary security features for enterprise and telecommunications markets, at the highest levels of availability, security, and expert IT services. It is a competitive solution for the total cost of security."
Commenting on the alliance, Keri Lewis, Datacraft's general manager of security solutions stated, "Now, Asia Pacific regional businesses have a one-stop solution for customized, best-practice security architecture based on best-of-class technology joined with integration services and 24X7 IT maintenance. That's the only adequate way to deal with today's morphing security threats. Too often, organizations deploy non-sustainable products that swamp security strategies, increasing security headaches and pain. To counter this problem, Datacraft is offering a business-enabling solution that is easy to manage with uninterrupted support and services."
Scott Ferguson, the regional director from Check Point Software commented, "The challenge facing information executives today is how to navigate this new terrain while still ensuring that security strategies remain business enablers. This is where the value of the alliance with Resilience combined with Datacraft's highly experienced security practice management team really hits home. Securing an organization's network is an uphill battle when lack of policy and planned architecture ...
