Frustrated tenants in the Adderley Park building in Adderley Street say the leakages, dust and noise associated with renovations to the new Adderley Hotel are chasing their clientele away .

They said that when renovations started in March, they were told construction would only last for about six months. "It's August now and they are still busy," said shop tenant, Augustine John, 39. "I doubt the building will be finished anytime soon."

Meanwhile tenants claim they are still expected to pay the same amount in rent although their profit margins have decreased because of the renovations
