Hong Kong: Phoenix TV sees profits for second straight quarter.

Improved advertising sales helped Putonghua-language television content provider Phoenix Satellite Television increase net profit to 42.3m Hong Kong dollars [5.4m US dollars] in the second quarter from 40.5m Hong Kong dollars in the first. It was the second straight quarterly profit.
First-half net profit of News Corp-backed Phoenix jumped to 82.8m Hong Kong dollars [10.6m US dollars], from a net loss of 34.07m Hong Kong dollars [4.3m US dollars] a year ago.
