Teacher Suspended Over Corporal Punishment.

THE Chifubu Secondary school teacher who administered the corporal punishment which led to the fainting of a grade 10 pupil last week has been suspended.

According to the charge form dated July 16 signed by acting school headteacher John Chalwe, Tamina B Kanyanta from the languages department had been told to exculpate herself.

"You are hereby charged with the offence of administering corporal punishment to a pupil by the name of Mwape Mumba of 10 G without the knowledge of the school administration. Your action resulted in the confusion which occurred in school on that day.
