KUALA LUMPUR, Mon. - Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) has declared a dividend of seven sen a unit for its major three-billion-unit Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW 2020), resulting in a higher total payout of RM135.18 million this year to investors.
Last year, PNB - parent company of Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) which manages the ASW 2020 and seven other unit trusts and two property trust funds - declared a payout of RM124.6 million (6.60 sen per unit) for the same scheme.
The ASW 2020 was launched in 1996 and opened to all Malaysians between the ages of 12 and 30.
