Lahore, 9 August: Indian Commerce Secretary Deepak Chatterjee, who flew into Lahore on Monday [9 August] evening from New Delhi, said that increased direct trade could be beneficial for both India and Pakistan. "Why should a third nation take benefit of the trade between the two neighbouring countries," he told newsmen on his arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport here on a three-day visit to Pakistan. He was received by director General Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Lahore, Haroon Rashid and officials of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
